what attracts us reveals ourselves
The project started with an open call for a workshop addressed to the population of Stupinigi. It was open to anyone who wants to improve his communicative capacities (talking, chanting, acting, dancing, reading etc). The participants have been able to rediscover some parts of themselves and to activate their own specific creativity. They also investigate the space and their relation to the public. The outcome of this relational work has been a macro-performance where the 20 participants performed 20 micro-performances spread out in the huge park of the Stupinigi Palace. The public started his journey alone following a long path and then had to make constant choices regarding the direction to choose (towards one performer or another) following the low of attraction. The unity is scarified by the fragmentation. The viewer won’t be certain to have taken all drawn paths. The artist is not interested in tracing a theatrical route, what she stages it is more the human sense of attraction or repulsion, a contact or a denied contact, the impracticability of the whole and the need to enjoy the part of it, in a revelation between the mystic and the sensible.
